Vincent Vaughan, A freelance photojournalist, is based on the lovely Island of Nassau , in the Islands The Bahamas. His first professional assignment  was  with the Tribune  in 1972 at the time the evening daily newspaper. The assignment was to produce publicly photographs of the TV  series "Salty the Sea lion" which was being filmed in Nassau. It was not very long before he was assigned to major events. In 1975 he and  his family moved to New York City . There he worked part time for Korvett department store in the photography department. On his days off and weekends he photographed  would-be models producing photographs for their portfolios. In 1977 Vincent and family returned  to Nassau. He opened Essence Photographic Services, handling commercial, and photojournalism assignments for the two dailies, The Nassau Guardian and the Tribune. His work has been published in The Miami Herald, Time Magazine , News week magazine, AP, UPI, The  New York Post, And Contemporary Piano. In 1987 The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism 's People-to-People  wedding department assigned Vincent  to photograph a couple's wedding, when it was part a tourism promotion to assist couples with their wedding plans. Vincent handled the couple's wedding like any other photojournalism  assignment to tell the story, the "Wedding Day Story" of a couple getting married in The Bahamas. That was in 1987, since than, through his wedding photojournalism style he has photographed the  wedding  Day Story of couples from across the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe, and Japan.
